Class 2

September 2017 – Autumn 1

Happy New Year to everybody, we hope you all had a lovely Christmas break.

Our new topic is ‘It’s Cold Outside!

Through this topic we are going to be learning about winter and cold weather. We will also be learning about other cold places and the animals that live there.

Here are some of the books we will be reading.

This is not an exhaustive list of books and we continue to be led by the interests of the children.

There is a video link to the book Penguin in the link below.

There are also links to some of the songs we shall be singing.

Home Learning Ideas:

We have lots of fun activities planned to support our learning and will send photographs on class Dojo for you to look at with your children so you can extend their learning at home. We are also lucky to continue with our yoga sessions on Monday morning, which all the children love.
If you want to share any news about things the children have done that you want to share with us please let us know by class Dojo, did you know you can send photographs via the messages.

A quick reminder about Espresso Online which we use often in school and has many great activities and stories for children. online.espresso.co.uk
